Controversial

The Mexico international and Tigres winger was once snagged by police after escaping officers. According to the report, he was handcuffed and escorted out of the fried chicken restaurant in El Pollo Loco, after being found in the bathroom.

However, it turned out to be a huge misunderstanding as the talented footballer wasn’t sure it was the police who asked him to stand down.

In the club’s official statement, he wrote that he could not identify who it was and decided to hide somewhere. Fortunately, he was released because the authorities only wanted to check his car license.

On January 1, 2018, it was announced on official Club Tigres Twitter that Damm had suffered first-degree burns to the right side of his face and would be healed in two weeks.

It was unclear how he got the burn, but it had to do with fireworks. Damm later sent photos of his injuries to warn people of the dangers of using firecrackers.
