In this article, we round up The Flash review just for you.

The Flash Review: A Round-up

The Flash (2023), directed by Andy Muschietti, is an American Superhero movie based on the DC Comics character of the same name.

The plot revolves around Barry Allen, aka The Flash, who goes back in time to stop his mother’s death and gets stuck in another universe where metahumans don’t exist. To defeat the revived General Zod and return to his universe, Barry seeks the assistance of his younger self, an older Batman, and the Kryptonian exiled Supergirl.

How has the film turned overall for the critics? While a few critics are pretty impressed with the return of Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck as Batman, as the nostalgia hit right in the chord, the other half has grave issues with the DC franchise for ruining their favorite character.

With a 69%(171 reviews) on Rotten Tomatoes, here is a round-up for The Flash review 2023.

There was an intention here to make a smart, emotional and complex superhero movie — a genre equivalent of “Everything Everywhere All at Once.” But too many forces drag this one down, from superhero conventions that necessitate pointless and protracted battle sequences to the movie’s singularly unappealing lead actor.

Fresh, funny, and fast – The Flash is a good time at the movies. Director Andy Muschietti’s clear love of the character anchors the many refreshingly unique action scenes and twisty time-travel plot, never losing sight of Barry Allen’s powerful emotional journey.

IGN

Miller, previously essaying the role as a supporting castmember (in Justice League, Batman v Superman, and Suicide Squad), is just sensational taking on the whole enchilada this time, especially considering the tough task of playing two different versions of Barry and making both credible and believable.

It’s, unfortunately, neither the well-developed character study executed in The CW’s The Flash, nor is it the violent, mature and more comics-accurate adaptation of the animated movie. The Flash movie is, instead, the weakest adaptation of Flashpoint, with a script that focuses on all the wrong things and a breakneck storyline that doesn’t allow for much character development.

The Flash is a junk food movie, but sometimes junk food hits the spot. I think in this case, it kind of did, and I had fun. There are problems here for sure, and maybe it’ll all fall apart in my mind the more I think about it. But I had a pretty good time with this, and while it might not have been as filling or satisfying as a proper piece of cínèmá, I feel like as far as unapologetic crowd-pleasers go, this is one of the better ones.

The Flash Reviews, however, are not well settled with the fans who are yet to watch the movie.

Im not gonna trust a WORD about the Flash movie until I see it for myself. That goes for good and bad reviews

I couldn't care less about what Twitter says I saw a leaked clip of it on tik tok and it looked amazing I think it's the opening sequence

Overall The Flash reviews received some mixed thoughts. Few critics are satisfied with the one-time watch movie, keeping the controversies of Ezra Miller, which happened throughout 2022, at bay, while others have doubts over the weak plot development and loopholes.
